Theater 8 is designed to challenge students of all abilities and talent levels to develop greater understanding and appreciation of theatre history and the positive impact theatre continues to have in our world. Students will gain better self expression, stage presence, self awareness, ensemble building, collaboration, research, directing ability, and acting skills through the art of performing.  In addition to performing, students will learn specific theatrical genres, biographical information on playwrights from each genre, and the playwrights’ most important contributions to bettering society. Students will be participating in classroom activities, collaborations, discussions, and performances, as well as have the opportunity to audition for the Middle School play.


AE 2 Drama is designed to challenge students of all abilities and talent levels to develop greater self expression, stage presence, self awareness, ensemble building, collaboration, and acting skills through the art of performing.  Students will learn general principles and terminology used in the theatre. Students will be participating in classroom activities and classroom productions, as well as have the opportunity to audition for the Middle School play.
